Fernschturm TV tower Berlin
The Fernschturm TV tower is the best place in Berlin to get an aerial view of the city. From the observation deck, visitors can snap pictures and point out landmarks from 200m above ground. It only takes 40 seconds on the high speed elevator to reach the observation deck, and the trip is great fun for the whole family.

The tower was constructed over 53 months, and was completed in 1969. It was constructed as both a transmitter and a representative monument, and since has seen over 1 million visitors pass through its doors each year.

Located in the center of Berlin, the tower also has a rotating restaurant at the top, which rotates in a complete circle twice an hour, allowing diners to see every inch of the view as they eat. A bar is located on the indoor Observation deck, and the tower even offers up services to perform wedding ceremonies while overlooking the city.
