Deutsche Guggenhiem Berlin
Situated in the old and new center of Berlin, the Deutsche Guggenhiem is one of the best galleries in the city. Located on the ground floor of the Deutsche Bank on Unter den Linden, the museum presents three or four important exhibitions every year of modern and contemporary art.
The Deutsche Bank itself is a surprisingly huge collector of art, and has over 50 000 works in its collection, mostly works on paper. It wasn't until the fall of 1997, when the Deutsche Guggenheim opened its doors, that the bank was properly able to begin displaying larger volumes of its many works.
