Location. The turn-of-the-century Angleterre Hotel is located in central Berlin, Germany, 800 metres from the Gendarmenmarkt. Potsdamer Platz square, the Brandenburg Gate and the Reichstag parliament building are within two kilometres of the hotel.
Hotel Features. Built in the late 19th century, the silver-roofed Angleterre Hotel captures old-world English style with chandeliers and high ceilings. The 24-hour front desk provides concierge services, and there is a gift shop and car park on site.

Wooden furnishings and leather banquettes set the scene in the Speaker's Corner restaurant, where breakfast (surcharge) and international dishes are served. Guests can sip English and Irish beers and relax in black leather armchairs beneath the chandeliers in the Commonwealth Bar and Lounge.

Getting there. Taxis are available in front of the terminal's lower level and cost about 15 EUR. The number 109 airbus runs to Zoologischer Garten station, which is on the U-Bahn (underground system). The X9 is an express airport shuttle, connecting to central Berlin, the main train station, and the Zoologischer Garten U-Bahn station. All buses leave from the upper level. Tickets should be validated prior to boarding. Prices are all subject to change. Getting around.The Angleterre Hotel is situated 800 metres from the Gendarmenmarkt and two kilometres from Friedrichstrasse Station. The best way to get around Berlin is to use its public transport system (BVG).
